As he leads the push for a bipartisan federal infrastructure bill, Governor Hogan is continuing to set a national example on rebuilding infrastructure in Maryland.
Earlier today, Governor Hogan announced the launch of Connect Maryland. This program will deliver a total new investment of $400 million to meet Governor Hogan’s goal of fully addressing the digital divide and ensuring universal broadband in Maryland.
A recent CNBC study ranked Maryland as the most improved state for business in 2021 because of Governor Hogan’s “forward thinking” focus on new infrastructure like “developing its broadband system and strengthening its power grid.” Maryland ranks third in the nation in connectivity with broadband access “available to more than 95% of the population in the state.”
